Licensed Heavy Vehicle Tester

We require a Licensed Heavy Vehicle Tester to join our team here at Semi Trailer Sales.

This is an opportunity for a permanent position located in Central Victoria (Bendigo) and an opportunity for you to grow, gain experience and secure a future in our organisation.

We need a fully qualified heavy vehicle inspector to undertake initial roadworthy inspections at our home base in Bendigo. As Australia's largest second hand Semi Trailer Dealership, we pride on providing exceptional service as well as quality equipment. With all sales, we offer our clients the option to purchase with a Victorian Roadworthy Certificate and onsite registration.

We require a tester who has experience within a busy Transport Industry and can provide qualifications to match. Initially, this role will be casual and depending on performance will be offered permanency.

Applicants must have the ability to determine the following:

  • Be a qualified Licenced Vehicle Tester with the appropriate certificates,
  • Be confident in inspecting Semi Trailers and Trucks and finding all faults to be attended to,
  • Completing initial inspections on Semi Trailers as well as sign offs to abide by Victorian Regulations,
  • A current MC Licence,
  • Confident in general vehicle repairs & maintenance,
  • The ability to complete scheduled servicing on trucks and trailers,
  • Assisting with on-road breakdowns when required,
  • Ability to work ongoing,
  • A good attitude and reliability,
  • Experience in a busy transport environment,
  • A disciplined approach to the delivery of business objectives,
  • Be willing to drive interstate as well as locally if required.
